When we were first brought here. She and I were among some of the first that woke and were dropped on this planet.
[One of the first people he considered a friend as well. He couldn't put it into words, but Tinker Bell had been the reason that he focused on something other than duty. He smiled and laughed, actually venturing out of the house and into the entertainment district.]
She told me she was stranded in Neverland.
[But it wasn't a surprise she helped rescue Emma's son.]
The way she made it sound, it was a difficult place to reach.
Too bad I missed her, it would've been good to see a familiar face.
[ but it helps, knowing that one of them was awake before. she'd rather hold on to that than all of her uncertainties, because right now she could use the hope that the thought brings. her parents are better at holding on to hope and optimism than she is, and without them?
well, it's been a struggle so far.]
It was harder to leave than to reach, but we did. The last time I saw her before stasis, she was in Storybrooke.
She went into stasis some time ago. It was a hard loss for me, she was a good friend.
[She wasn't the first among his circle that went back to sleep, his sister had disappeared long before. But it had been easier to keep from sliding back into his darker emotions because of Tink's presence and natural kindness.
She pulled him out before, after they landed. It was something she became quite skilled at.]
[ she was a good friend to the people in Emma's life too, everyone from Neal to Hook to Regina. that probably says a lot about Tinker Bell and the chances she's always been willing to give people. it doesn't matter if they're a lost boy, a pirate, or an Evil Queen. back in Storybrooke, she'd saved them all from the shadow.]
He was kidnapped and taken there. Pan - I don't know if she told you about him, but psychotic old man who wanted to be a magic boy forever? - wanted his heart.
[ not the happiest story, but it happened, so.]
A uh - friend of mine, Hook, knew Tinker Bell from his time on the island. He helped us find her, and she helped us locate Pan's camp. She didn't trust or like any of us at first, but... all Tinker Bell ever wanted was a home. We promised to bring her back to Storybrooke with us so that she could have that.
She told me a bit, not enough that I understood what sort of man he was.
[Who would want to be a boy forever?
But it was unlikely that he would ever fully understand. The magic of her world was off putting. He barely understood the sort that existed once in Westeros. He would never feel comfortable with the subject, no matter where it was located.]
She was plain when she liked someone or didn't agree with them. [She called him on his brooding enough to make that clear.] Good. From what she told me, she was trapped there for too long.

It isn't a place I would want to see.
