"I think you are right. There was an outbreak of plague in Olympia, an attack against the populace. We had to evacuate the city and Wyver opened its gates to us, allowing us to stay there. Even with Olympians in their city, there wasn't this level of hostility or anger."

He frowned, trying to think back. "It didn't start again until after the plague passed and we could return to Olympia. There was a ball with games and contests. We were asked to wear certain colors, I didn't know then, but it was declaring for one kingdom or the other. Afterwards, if you wore opposing colors, that other kingdom treated you with suspicion."

She at least had saved her family and friends from the Storm. That would at least be a comfort for her, even if she was alone right now. "They will wake soon." He hoped, at least.

He slipped off his cloak, draping it over her shoulders to help cover the colors. "Pull it tight." He murmured to her, approaching the guards and held out a small coin purse. "My sister finally found the means to travel. She will be under my watch and care. Let us pass?" The guard looked down at the money and then over at Wanda, watching her for a moment, waiting to see if she said anything or stepped out of line.
